About The Event
Join local naturalist, April Claus, as she introduces you to the different types of salamanders, frogs, and toads that call Pennsylvania and Glade Run Lake home! Learn about these sensitive bioindicators and how they help humans to learn more about our environment. What challenges to they currently face? How can your family help? Meet some LIVE native frogs, toads, and salamanders! Participants will learn how to identify 10 Pennsylvania frog species by their call. Bring your outdoor folding chairs, snacks, pen/pencils, and something to write on for the frog call activity. This free program is sponsored by Armstrong Antlers & Anglers.
